History Of Singapore Airlines
Singapore Airlines, originally known as Malayan Airways Limited (MAL), was founded on 1 May 1947, installing its roots in a modest beginning. The first flight by MAL took off from Kallang Airport in Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Following a series of strategic developments and regional challenges, the airline evolved into Malaysia-Singapore Airlines (MSA) in 1966, but was later split into Singapore Airlines and Malaysian Airline System in 1972.
