They have been in business for over a decade, having started out as a small, family-owned outdoor shop in Lancaster, serving its local client based with plenty of heart and soul. In 2014, the business was acquired by JD Sports Fashion PLC and was re-launched at its new shop in Preston. Ultimate Outdoors continues to share a passion for outdoor activities and for providing customers with the very best service and care.

Delivery Information

UK Standard Delivery is £3.99 or FREE on all orders over £100. Orders are delivered within four working days. Next day delivery is available to UK mainland addresses for £5.99. Make sure to place your order before 6pm on Monday-Saturday, 3pm Sunday. Charges may vary along with promotional offers. In general, most items are delivered on weekdays, between 8am and 8pm. Track your delivery by clicking on the link in your dispatch email. International delivery is available, at a charge of £4.99. Consult the website for approximate waiting times for international orders.

Returns Policy

They are happy to repair, replace or refund any item you aren't happy with. They only refund the delivery charge if goods are faulty or if your order has been cancelled within the stipulated 14-day period. No return is available on swimwear or underwear, unless merchandise is faulty. If you have paid by credit or debit card, just stop by one of our stores with your despatch note and the goods and the friendly team will offer you a refund or exchange. If you have purchased online or by post, the free Collect+ service has parcel drop off points in over 5,500 local stores.
