History Of Treatwell
Treatwell, originally known as Wahanda, was founded in 2008 by Lopo Champalimaud and Salim Mitha. The company started as an online marketplace designed to help customers find and book wellness and beauty services. Initially, it was primarily focused on spa and beauty treatments. Over the years, it expanded its reach and service offerings through strategic investments and acquisitions. The rebranding from Wahanda to Treatwell occurred in 2015 after Wahanda acquired the European businesses of Treatwell and decided to unify its services under the more recognizable name.
