Delivery Information

There are two delivery options available, including super-saver and premium delivery. The super-saver free delivery is automatically added to orders over £29 and usually takes three to five working days to arrive. If you spend less than £29 it will cost £2.99. The Premium delivery service costs £4.99 for orders under £29, or £2.99 for orders over £29 and will take one to three working days to arrive.

It is worth noting that the estimated delivery times apply only from when your order is confirmed, not when you actually check out. You also cannot select specific time slots. All orders will arrive within the estimated time and be delivered between 8am and 9pm Monday to Friday.

Pet-supermarket.co.uk delivers to UK mainland, UK offshore island addresses and Northern Ireland. It currently does not deliver to:Jersey - JE1 - JE4Guernsey - GY1-GY9 Isles of Scilly - TR21 - TR25

If the order weighs less than 3kg, it will be sent via Royal Mail. Any orders over 3kg will be sent via courier service. If you choose the Premium delivery option, your order will arrive with DPD. All special orders, such as fish tanks, will be sent via a pallet courier service.

Returns Policy

Pet-Supermarket.co.uk has an excellent no quibbles return policy. You have up to 14 days after date of delivery to return any products in their original packaging. You can choose from a full refund or an exchange. Unless the product is faulty, damaged or the wrong item to what you ordered, you will be responsible for paying the cost to return it.

There are some types of products that you cannot return. Veterinary medicines including wormers and flea treatments cannot be returned by law. They are unable to be sold and will simply be destroyed if returned. Other items that cannot be returned include engraved ID tags and part used food.

While the company doesn't require a reason for the return, they do ask for a brief explanation in order to improve future customer service. When making a return you can do so via post and it is recommended you send it via recorded delivery as Pet-supermarket.co.uk isn't liable for any damages or losses.

The Pet-supermarket website is very secure. In fact, every purchase is backed by a security guarantee. The company has never had a customer report fraudulent use of their cards after shopping on the site. The website is scanned every day to check for vulnerabilities. Customers can even see the results of the latest scans in the bottom left hand corner of the site. When clicking the logo, it brings up information about the test conducted. The company also uses Verisign as part of its checkout process which helps to keep all customer details completely confidential.

Unfortunately, Pet-supermarket has received a number of negative reviews as found on the Review Centre. It is worth pointing out that customers do mainly tend to leave a review when they've encountered a problem. Therefore, there are thousands of happy customers who haven't felt the need to leave a review.
